ERR invites listeners to test themselves in Music Day quiz

Estonian public broadcaster ERR reported that Klassikaraadio, an Estonian radio station, will hold its traditional online quiz for International Music Day on October 1, with a preliminary quiz available for participants who want to test themselves in advance.

The Music Day quiz can be completed on the Klassikaraadio and Raadio 4 websites from early morning until midnight. The event is being held for the 13th time.

The multiple-choice quiz covers classical, jazz and pop music. Audio files, video clips and photographs will form part of the challenge, which can also be used as a school activity.

Last year, 4,619 music enthusiasts took part. Participants of all ages joined from across Estonia, with many schools completing the quiz as entire classes.

The correct answers will be published on the Klassikaraadio website immediately after the quiz closes. A special summary programme will be broadcast on October 2 at 1 p.m., and the best participants will receive musical prizes.
