Eesti Pank to present fresh economic forecast

Estonia’s central bank will present its latest economic forecast on Tuesday at 11 a.m., ERR reported. Eesti Pank Governor Ülo Kaasik and Deputy Governor Martti Randveer will lead the presentation, which will be available to watch on the ERR portal.

The presentation will cover economic growth, wage growth and unemployment, as well as how the external environment is affecting exports and price increases.

It will also address why fuel prices have risen so sharply, why improving the budget balance should not be postponed, monetary policy decisions and the outlook for Estonia’s public finances.
