LSM voter tool passes 50,000 completions before Latvian elections

More than 50,000 questionnaires have been completed in the Party Matcher, an interactive voter tool created by LSM.lv ahead of Latvia’s 15th Saeima elections, LSM reported on Monday afternoon.

The figure does not represent unique users, as one visitor can complete the questionnaire multiple times.

Created by LSM.lv in cooperation with the public policy centre Providus, the tool allows voters to compare their views with the positions of political parties and candidate lists. This year, users can also choose the issues that matter most to them and learn the parties’ positions on those topics.

The 15th Saeima elections will take place on October 3. Polling stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and voters will be able to cast their ballots at any polling station.

Votes can be placed in storage at all polling stations in Latvia from September 28 until election day during designated hours.
