Progresīvie voters assess party before Latvian elections

Latvian Television and LSM have featured voters of the Progresīvie party discussing their political choices and expectations ahead of the 15th Saeima elections, LSM reported.

The voters were asked why they supported the party four years ago, whether they now consider that choice the right one, and whether Progresīvie has fulfilled its promises or disappointed them.

They also discussed whom they plan to support this year. The project includes voters who remain undecided and those who say they will not vote at all. It examines whether campaign posters and promises can influence voters shortly before an election, or whether parties and their leaders are judged over a longer period.

The programme also provides information about the party, its candidates, election platform and positions on issues important to society.

Progresīvie will appear on LTV programme Party in Focus at 8.50 p.m. on Monday. The programme will be broadcast live on LTV1, LSM.lv and REplay.lv.
