Rain will affect Estonia on Sunday as a low-pressure trough moves east across the country, ERR reported. There is also a risk of thunderstorms in some places overnight, while cloud cover and showers will gradually recede from western Estonia in the afternoon.
Winds will be strong and mainly southwesterly, easing gradually during the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 11 to 16 degrees overnight and from 14 to 18 degrees during the day.
During the night into Sunday, cloud cover will increase and rain will spread across the country. Winds will blow from the southwest and south at 5 to 11 metres per second, reaching 9 to 14 metres per second on the islands and coast, with gusts of up to 20 metres per second.
The morning will be widely cloudy, with rain in many places. Temperatures will remain between 12 and 16 degrees. During the day, cloud cover will begin to break from the west. Rain will continue in many places in the morning and become more localised in the afternoon. Winds will blow mainly from the southwest at 5 to 10 metres per second, with gusts of up to 17 metres per second.
Rain showers will continue intermittently on Monday. Winds will be moderately strong, with temperatures ranging from 7 to 13 degrees overnight and from 13 to 16 degrees during the day.
On Tuesday, occasional showers are expected on the islands and in eastern Estonia. Winds will be moderate from the north, with temperatures around 8 degrees at night and 15 degrees during the day.
Wednesday will be mostly dry in western Estonia but rainy in the east. Overnight temperatures may fall to as low as 3 degrees in some places, while coastal areas will remain as warm as 12 degrees. Daytime temperatures will rise to 15 degrees.
Thursday will be slightly warmer but wetter.
