Rain will spread across Estonia on Friday as temperatures rise to 14 to 18 degrees Celsius, ERR reports.
The edge of a low-pressure system rotating over the Norwegian Sea will bring heavier rain to western Estonia during the morning, with the precipitation spreading across the country during the day. The night before Friday will have variable cloud cover and scattered showers. Southwesterly winds will reach 4 to 10 metres per second, with gusts of up to 16 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will range from 7 to 11 degrees, reaching up to 15 degrees on the coast.
On Friday morning, western Estonia will be cloudy with rain in several places, while eastern Estonia will have little or variable cloud cover and mostly dry conditions. Temperatures will range from 9 to 15 degrees.
The day will remain cloudy with clearer periods. Widespread rain will move northeast across the country before noon, while scattered showers will continue in many places during the afternoon. Southwesterly and southerly winds will reach 5 to 13 metres per second, with gusts of up to 18 metres per second on the coast.
On Saturday, showers will move across Estonia along the edge of the low-pressure system and become less frequent by evening. Strong southwesterly winds will continue, with temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees at night and 15 to 18 degrees during the day.
A new low-pressure system will bring rain on Sunday. Showers will be lighter and less frequent at night, but rain will become more widespread and heavier during the day. Strong southwesterly winds will ease in the afternoon, while temperatures will again reach up to 18 degrees.
Showers are also expected in several places at the beginning of next week, followed by cooler weather.
