Thursday to bring showers across Estonia
Showers will affect many parts of Estonia on Thursday, with temperatures reaching up to 19 degrees Celsius, ERR weather reported.
Rain will move eastward across the country overnight, with a risk of thunderstorms in southeastern Estonia. After midnight, cloud cover and rainfall will begin to ease from the islands. Southwesterly and southerly winds will reach 4 to 10 metres per second, with gusts of up to 15 metres per second on the coast. Overnight temperatures will range from 10 to 15 degrees.
Thursday morning will remain cloudy in eastern Estonia, with rain, while the west will see variable cloud cover and occasional showers. Winds will blow from the southwest at 3 to 9 metres per second, with coastal gusts of up to 14 metres per second. Temperatures will be 12 to 15 degrees.
During the day, the weather will be partly cloudy, with showers in many places. Southwesterly winds will reach 4 to 10 metres per second, with gusts of up to 15 metres per second. Daytime temperatures will rise to between 15 and 19 degrees.
Strong southwesterly and southerly winds will continue in the following days. The weather will remain mild, with overnight temperatures staying above 10 degrees except on Friday night, when they will fall to a few degrees below 10. Daytime temperatures will remain between 15 and 19 degrees, and rain is also expected.
Showers will be scattered on Friday night, but heavier rain will reach western Estonia by morning and move across the country during the day. Southeastern Estonia may avoid the heaviest rainfall. Showers will be fewer and more occasional on Saturday, although the weather will not be completely dry. On Sunday, showers will again become more widespread.
