Former defence ministry chancellor to discuss ministry turmoil on ETV

Former Ministry of Defence Chancellor Kusti Salm will discuss problems in the ministry’s administration on the ETV programme Esimene stuudio, ERR reported.

Confusion over defence-sector finances led to both the minister and the chancellor leaving office, while many questions remain unanswered. The programme will examine the effectiveness of the ministry’s internal controls, who is responsible for the failed munitions deal and how similar incidents can be prevented in the future.

Salm will be interviewed by presenter Andres Kuusk. Esimene stuudio will air on ETV at 9.40 p.m. on Wednesday.
