Kaunas resident loses €31,450 in online investment scam

A Kaunas resident lost €31,450 after investing money through an online platform, LRT reports.
The man, born in 1948, contacted Kaunas County Police on Tuesday and said unknown individuals had fraudulently taken the money between July 16 and September 12.
He said the incident occurred while he was at home in Kaunas and investing through the online platform.
Police have opened a pre-trial investigation into suspected fraud.
