Jaan Tallinn tops Estonia rich list as wealth surges 33 percent

Jaan Tallinn is Estonia’s wealthiest person, with assets valued at 10.318 billion euros, ERR reported, citing Äripäev’s annual ranking of the country’s richest people.

The top five remain the same as last year, although their order has changed. The list is:

1. Jaan Tallinn, Metaplanet Holdings and Ambient Sound Investments, 10.318 billion euros;

2. Kristo Käärmann, Wise, 1.933 billion euros;

3. Taavet Hinrikus, Skaala Investments and Wise, 1.476 billion euros;

4. Markus Villig, Bolt, 960.8 million euros;

5. Margus Linnamäe, MM Grupp, 686.9 million euros.

The next five listed were Raul Kirjanen, with 559.2 million euros; Oleg Ossinovski, with 551.1 million euros; Anders Anderson, with 497.3 million euros; Oliver Leisalu, with 461.2 million euros; and Fjodor Berman, with 394.8 million euros.

The wealth of Estonia’s 500 richest people rose by approximately 33 percent over the year, reaching 41.4 billion euros, according to Äripäev.
