Calm weather to continue as temperatures reach 21 degrees

Calm weather will continue across Lithuania on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching 21 degrees in some places, LRT reported, citing Paulius Starkus, a forecaster at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

The morning will remain gloomy, with fog persisting. Skies will brighten after midday, bringing more sunny spells that will increase towards the evening. Rain is expected only in some areas.

Winds will be light and variable. Temperatures will range from 17 to 19 degrees, rising to 20 or 21 degrees where there is more sunshine.

Wednesday night will be similar, with fog and temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees. The day will be brighter as a warmer air mass reaches the country, pushing temperatures up to 18 to 23 degrees. Western districts may see some light rain.

Rain is expected in many areas on Thursday, both during the night and day. The night will be warmer, with temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees, while daytime temperatures will reach 15 to 20 degrees.
