Two young men from Vilnius have been charged with distributing a very large quantity of drugs as part of an alleged criminal group, LRT reported, citing the prosecution. The case has been referred to the Klaipėda Regional Court.

According to the case file, the 19 and 21 year olds kept large quantities of MDMA, 3 CMC, 4 CMC, 2 CB, ketamine, cocaine, cannabis and psilocybin containing mushrooms in a car in Vilnius between August 18 and 27 last year.

Investigators allege that the men transported some of the drugs from Vilnius by car to different parts of Lithuania and hid them. Packages were allegedly concealed in Vilnius, Jonava, Ukmergė, Panevėžys city and district, and Kaunas.

The locations of the hiding places were recorded on mobile phones. One defendant saved their coordinates, while the other photographed the places where the packages had been buried.

The alleged offence was uncovered in Klaipėda on August 27, 2025, when the men brought more than 200 separate packages containing cocaine, 3 CMC and cannabis to a park. They hid some of the packages in the ground and recorded their coordinates.

A canine unit officer who had arrived at the park to train a service dog noticed the two men behaving suspiciously. During a check, he found drugs on one of them. Police later discovered more than 10 packages containing 3 CMC, as well as a bag with additional drugs near a tree.

After finding the saved coordinates on one defendant’s phone, officers located more packages containing cocaine and 3 CMC buried in the park.

The criminal case will be heard by the Klaipėda Regional Court.
