LSM appeal raises more than €116,000 for Ukrainian soldiers

More than €116,000 has been donated to a campaign by LSM and the charity organisation Ziedot.lv to support the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers, LSM reported. The campaign has raised €116,457 so far.

The “Together with Ukraine in thought and action” campaign is collecting funds to provide Ukrainian soldiers with medical care, psychological support, rehabilitation and help returning to society after service at the front.

The campaign will run until September 13. Donations can be made through the Ziedot.lv website or by calling 90204113. A call costs €5, including value-added tax.

LSM and Ziedot.lv have supported aid for Ukraine since the beginning of the war, raising more than €2 million. This year’s February campaign collected more than €745,000.

Previous campaigns raised €896,701 in 2022 to support Ukrainian refugee children in Latvia, nearly €355,000 in February and March 2024, nearly €335,000 in August and September 2024, more than €465,000 from February to March 2025 and €240,000 from August to September 2025.
