More than 111,000 euros has been donated to a campaign supporting the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers, LSM reported. The Latvian public media organisation is running the campaign with charity organisation Ziedot.lv until September 13.

The “Together with Ukraine in thought and action” campaign is raising funds to provide Ukrainian soldiers with medical care, psychological support and opportunities to recover and return to civilian life.

Donations can be made through the Ziedot.lv website or by calling 90204113. The call costs 5 euros, including value-added tax.

Soldiers returning from the front need both medical and psychological support to recover their strength and treat physical and mental trauma caused by the war, LSM said.

LSM and Ziedot.lv have raised more than 2 million euros for assistance to Ukraine since the start of the war. Previous campaigns raised nearly 355,000 euros in February and March 2024, nearly 335,000 euros in August and September 2024, more than 465,000 euros from February to March 2025 and 240,000 euros from August to September 2025. A campaign held in February this year raised more than 745,000 euros.
