Estonian Natural History Museum opens 64th mushroom exhibition

ERR reported that the Estonian Natural History Museum opened its 64th traditional mushroom exhibition on Thursday, the last exhibition to open in the museum’s historic building before its move to Noblessner.

During the exhibition, visitors can see different mushroom species in the museum courtyard, including edible, inedible and poisonous varieties. Museum experts and consultants will answer questions about mushrooms.

The Estonian Natural History Museum’s mushroom exhibition is the longest-running museum exhibition of its kind in Estonia and one of the longest-running mushroom exhibitions in the world. The museum will continue operating in its historic building until October 31, after which it will move to a new building in Noblessner.
