Parliamentary parties to debate defence spending on ERR

Confusion over defence-sector funding is set to lead to the dismissal of both the minister and the chancellor, ERR reported. Representatives of parliamentary parties will discuss how to restore trust and what constitutes reasonable civilian oversight on the television programme “Esimene stuudio” at 9:40 p.m.

The debate will feature Peeter Tali of Eesti 200, Urmas Reinsalu of Isamaa, Lauri Läänemets of the Social Democratic Party, Martin Helme of the Conservative People’s Party of Estonia, Mihhail Kõlvart of the Centre Party and Kristo Enn Vaga of the Reform Party.

The programme will be hosted by Liisu Lass and Andres Kuusk.
