RKIK to explain defence procurement questions at briefing

Estonia’s State Defence Investment Centre will hold a press briefing at 10.30 on Monday to address questions that have recently arisen about its defence procurements, ERR reported.

The briefing will cover the use of external funds, advance payments, the centre’s procurement procedures, and the organisation and practice of background checks. ERR will broadcast the briefing live on its news portal.

Questions will be answered by RKIK Director General Elmar Vaher, Deputy Director General for Procurement Asko Kivinuk and Sorainen attorney-at-law Maria Pihlak.
