LSM.lv, the Latvian public media portal, has launched a dedicated section for the 15th Saeima elections, bringing together party analysis, candidate and programme information, and residents’ views on the Latvia they want to see over the next four years.

The section will be updated until election day with news, analysis, public opinions, discussions and debates. Election results will also be available there after the vote.

From mid-September, voters will be able to use the Party Selector, which allows them to compare their views with those of the political parties.

The 15th Saeima elections will take place on Saturday, October 3. Polling stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and voters will be able to cast their ballots at any polling station.

From September 28 until election day, voters will also be able to submit their ballots for storage at all polling stations in Latvia during specified hours:

September 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; September 29 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.; September 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; October 1 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.; and October 2 from noon to 3 p.m.

The election campaign period began on June 5. The newly elected 15th Saeima will hold its first sitting on November 3, when the mandate of the 14th Saeima will end.
