Police find 150 grams of TNT in Kelmė district attic

A man found about 150 grams of TNT while clearing an attic in a house in Tolučiai village, Kelmė district, LRT reported, citing police.

The discovery was made at about 6:45 p.m. on Monday by a man born in 1982 who was tidying the house on a country homestead.

Bomb disposal officers from the Aras Anti-Terrorist Operations Unit took the material away.

A pretrial investigation has been opened into the illegal possession of firearms, ammunition, explosives or explosive materials.
