Saturday to bring warm, mostly dry weather

Saturday will be warm and mostly dry in Estonia, with temperatures rising above 20 degrees Celsius in many places, ERR reports. Rain clouds will reach the western islands by evening as southeasterly winds strengthen.

The night will bring little or variable cloud cover and no significant precipitation, although fog may form in some places. Southeasterly and southerly winds will reach 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 16 metres per second on the islands and western coast. Temperatures will range from 9 to 14 degrees, reaching up to 17 degrees on the coast.

Saturday morning will remain partly cloudy and dry, with some fog lingering in places. Southeasterly winds will blow at 4 to 10 metres per second, with gusts of up to 15 metres per second on the islands and western coast. Temperatures will be between 13 and 17 degrees.

During the day, mainland Estonia will have little or variable cloud cover. Cloud will thicken over the islands as rain approaches from the sea. Southeasterly and southerly winds will reach 5 to 12 metres per second, with gusts of up to 17 metres per second. Temperatures will rise to between 18 and 22 degrees.

By evening, western Estonia will be cloudy and rain will fall on the islands. Eastern Estonia will have variable cloud cover and remain dry. Southeasterly and southerly winds will blow at 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 13 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will reach up to 20 degrees.

On Sunday night, rain will slowly move eastwards across the country, and rain will fall in many places during the day. Temperatures will range from 12 to 16 degrees at night and from 16 to 21 degrees during the day.

According to the current forecast, rainy weather will continue into the start of next week. There may be localised rain at night and rain in many places during the day, including Tuesday, September 1. Daytime temperatures will remain between 17 and 22 degrees at the beginning of the week.
