Nine Lithuanian mayors hold more than 40,000 euros in cash

Nine Lithuanian mayors hold more than 40,000 euros in cash, with Druskininkai Mayor Ričardas Malinauskas topping the list with 521,000 euros, LRT reported, citing the Delfi portal.

Malinauskas has total savings of 611,769 euros, of which slightly more than 90,000 euros is held in a bank.

Širvintos District Mayor Živilė Pinskuvienė ranks second. Her declared savings in 2025 amounted to 137,831 euros, including 134,843 euros in cash.

Šakiai District Mayor Raimondas Januševičius is third, with 141,764 euros in savings. He holds slightly more than 25,000 euros in a bank and 116,000 euros in cash.

Kaunas Mayor Visvaldas Matijošaitis ranks fourth. Most of his savings, which total almost 8 million euros, are held in a bank. He has 82,700 euros in cash.

Zarasai District Mayor Nijolė Guobienė is next, with total savings of 110,679 euros. She holds 75,000 euros in cash and 35,679 euros in a bank.

Akmenė District Mayor Vitalijus Mitrofanovas has 89,228 euros in savings, including slightly more than 28,000 euros in a bank and 61,000 euros in cash.

Klaipėda Mayor Arvydas Vaitkus has 325,286 euros in savings. Of that amount, 266,286 euros is held in a bank and 59,000 euros in cash.

Kelmė District Mayor Ildefonsas Petkevičius has 90,386 euros in savings, including 46,876 euros in a bank and 45,000 euros in cash.

Plungė District Mayor Audrius Klišonis ranks ninth, with total savings of 53,262 euros. He holds 12,162 euros in a bank and 41,100 euros in cash.

According to Delfi, all other Lithuanian municipal mayors hold less than 40,000 euros in cash.
