VSAA services to be unavailable on Latvija.gov.lv during system upgrades

Services provided by Latvia’s State Social Insurance Agency, or VSAA, will be unavailable on the Latvija.gov.lv e-services portal from 3 p.m. on August 28 until September 1 during system upgrades, LSM reported, citing VSAA.

While the systems are being transferred and restoration and testing work is completed, VSAA customer service centres, telephone lines and email services will operate as usual on August 31 and September 1. Customers will be able to receive general information and submit documents in person.

Applications may also be sent by email if they are signed with a secure electronic signature. However, some routine actions requiring access to data in VSAA information systems may not be available.

VSAA recommends scheduling in-person visits and service applications from September 2, when regular services are expected to resume. The agency will provide updates as information on the restoration of e-services and other services becomes available.
