Woman and knife-wielding accomplice rob Vilnius shop

A woman and a knife-wielding accomplice robbed alcoholic and energy drinks from a shop in Vilnius, LRT reported, citing the Police Department.

The incident took place at about 6:24 p.m. on Monday on Pylimo Street in the central part of the city. The woman took the drinks and left the shop without paying.

When a security guard tried to stop her, her accomplice opened the shop door, threatened the employee with a knife and fled with the woman.

The material loss was valued at 88 euros. A pre-trial investigation into robbery has been launched.
