Šiauliai district resident loses €33,861 after paying for goods

A Šiauliai district resident lost €33,861 after transferring money from a company account for goods that were never delivered, LRT reported. Šiaulius County Police have launched a pre-trial investigation into suspected fraud.

Between July 27 and 31, the resident, who was born in 2000, transferred €33,861 from the company’s account to an account provided by the seller.

The goods were not received. The investigation was opened after the circumstances were clarified.
