Nauseda to attend Ukraine independence anniversary events in Kyiv

President Gitanas Nauseda and First Lady Diana Nausediene will travel to Kyiv to attend events marking the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, LRT reported on Saturday.

According to the presidential office, Nauseda will take part in Monday’s events and a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing. He will also meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The president is additionally scheduled to attend events marking Ukraine’s Flag Day and a summit of Ukrainian, Nordic and Baltic leaders.

Diana Nausediene will follow a separate programme focused on societal resilience and the consequences of the war. She will attend the sixth meeting of first ladies and gentlemen, titled “The World in 2026: Seeking Stability in Times of Uncertainty”, organised by Ukraine’s first lady.
