LSM campaign seeks donations for Ukrainian soldiers’ rehabilitation

Latvian Public Media LSM is asking people to support the physical and psychological rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers through its campaign “Together with Ukraine in Thought and Deed”, LSM reported in a video feature.

The campaign runs from August 17 to September 13. Donations can be made through the Ziedot.lv portal or by calling 90204113, with each call costing 5 euros.

The funds will pay for rehabilitation for Ukrainian soldiers in both Ukraine and Latvia. LSM and Latvian Radio 5’s Pieci.lv explained the campaign’s purpose in the programme “Kas īsti notiek?”

LSM’s related reports have covered Ukrainian soldiers recovering at Jaunķemeri and said that Riga’s Eastern Clinical University Hospital has helped more than 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers over four years.
