False reports claim Kėdainiai drinking water is unsafe

LRT reported that Lithuania’s National Public Health Center has denied false claims circulating online that drinking water in Kėdainiai is unsafe.

An article published by the portal pci.lt claimed that the National Public Health Center had found excessive levels of lead in drinking water supplied by the company Kėdainių vandenys. The center said it had not published such information on August 20 and had contacted the portal over the publication of misleading information.
