Vilnius man loses 15,145 euros in online investment scam

A Vilnius man lost 15,145 euros after unknown people allegedly defrauded him through an online investment platform, LRT reported, citing the Police Department.
The man, born in 1962, told police on Wednesday that he had invested money on the platform between August 3 and 18. The suspects allegedly took the money by fraud.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched.
