Rain to continue in Lithuania before temperatures rise later this week
Rain is expected across Lithuania in the coming days, but conditions should improve toward the end of the week, with temperatures returning to typical summer levels, LRT Radio reported, citing Janas Voitkevičius, a forecaster at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.
Tuesday will be rainy, with heavy rain forecast in eastern districts. Western districts will see brief showers and some sunny intervals. Temperatures will reach 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Some areas will receive rain on Wednesday night, with temperatures ranging from 8 to 13 degrees. Brief showers are possible during the day, when temperatures will rise to 18 to 23 degrees.
Thursday and Friday are expected to be rainy, with thunderstorms in some areas. Temperatures will reach 19 to 24 degrees on Thursday and 20 to 25 degrees on Friday.
