Police find missing diver’s body off Roja

The body of a diver who went missing in mid-July has been found at sea off Roja, Latvia’s State Police said Monday, according to LSM.

The diver disappeared on July 12 about 10 nautical miles northeast of Roja while diving with three others near a shipwreck. The other three divers reached the surface safely, but the fourth could not be located.

The search lasted 38 hours and involved the Navy, the Border Guard, an aircraft from the National Armed Forces’ Air Force and an Estonian search-and-rescue helicopter.
