Former Transport Minister Juras Taminskas’ media representative Lukas Paškevičius has become a deputy transport minister, LRT reported, citing the Transport Ministry.

Živilė Poželienė has also started work as a deputy minister, while Roderikas Žiobakas, who previously held that position, has become the ministry’s chancellor.

Dovilė Sujetaitė will continue as deputy minister. Ministerial adviser Akvilė Danielė is also joining the team, while journalist Viktoras Jakovlevas has become the minister’s new adviser for public relations, replacing Paškevičius.

“I believe that both the team members who have worked so far and the new members will make a significant contribution through their expertise and knowledge to improving the transport sector, developing innovation and, most importantly, ensuring convenient and safe transport for people,” Taminskas said in a statement.

Poželienė previously served as chancellor of the Energy Ministry.
