Aglona Mass draws 14,000 worshippers from Latvia and abroad

The main Mass of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary celebrations in Aglona has been held, with the five-day event attracting 14,000 worshippers from Latvia and abroad, LSM reported.

Latvia’s president and other state officials also attended the event.

The Mass was led by Archbishop Georg Gänswein, the papal envoy to the Baltic states. Music was provided by a combined choir of Latgale parishes.
