A public auction of the Paide and Põltsamaa production units of bankrupt AS E-Piim Tootmine ended with a winning bid of €135.25 million, ERR reported.
The auction, which began a week earlier and ended on August 14, had a starting price of €80 million. Bankruptcy administrator Indrek Lepsoo said the winner’s name would be disclosed after the deadline for possible objections has passed and the transaction has been completed.
The assets included properties at Mündi 64 and Ruubassaare tee 12, and at Mündi 62 in Paide, as well as properties at Välja 4, Jõgeva maantee 1, Roheline 18 and Kungla 2 in Põltsamaa.
The sale also covered 80 percent of the share capital of E-Piim Transport OÜ and 22.6 percent of the share capital of BioCC OÜ. E-Piim’s trademarks, vehicles, contracts, including employment contracts, and other assets were also included.
The separate auction of E-Piim Tootmine’s factory in Järva-Jaani, which had a starting price of €8 million, found no buyer.
A court declared E-Piim Tootmine bankrupt on March 12.
