Wednesday to bring rain showers and temperatures up to 19 degrees

Wednesday will bring rain showers and strong northwesterly winds to Estonia, with temperatures reaching 19 degrees, ERR reports.

A low-pressure system shaping the weather will move over the White Sea towards Russia. Estonia will remain on its edge, bringing further rain showers and strong northwesterly winds. Overnight lows will fall below 10 degrees, while daytime temperatures will remain below 20 degrees.

The coming night will be partly cloudy, with occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms in eastern Estonia before midnight. Westerly and northwesterly winds will blow at 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 12 metres per second and, on the coast, up to 18 metres per second. Temperatures will range from 8 to 13 degrees, reaching 16 degrees on the coast.

Wednesday morning will be clear or lightly cloudy in places, with occasional showers. Winds will come from the west and northwest at 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 12 metres per second and coastal winds of 15 to 17 metres per second. Temperatures will range from 11 to 16 degrees.

During the day, cloud cover will vary. Showers are possible in places before noon and in many areas during the afternoon. Northwesterly winds will blow at 5 to 12 metres per second, with gusts of up to 15 metres per second and up to 18 metres per second on the northern coast. Temperatures will reach 16 to 19 degrees.

In the evening, the islands will be clear while mainland Estonia will have light and variable cloud cover. Eastern Estonia may see occasional showers. Northwesterly winds will blow at 4 to 10 metres per second, with coastal gusts of up to 15 metres per second. Temperatures will range from 13 to 17 degrees.

Thursday night will be dry, although occasional showers are possible in eastern Estonia during the day. Temperatures will range from 6 to 12 degrees overnight, reaching 16 degrees on the coast, and from 17 to 22 degrees during the day.

Friday will be dry, with overnight temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees, up to 17 degrees on the coast, and daytime temperatures of 19 to 23 degrees. The weekend will be warmer, with overnight lows staying above 10 degrees and daytime highs rising above 25 degrees. Showers will remain fairly infrequent.
