Buyer pays 554,500 euros for SAB property in Jūrmala

A legal entity has bought a property in Jūrmala owned by the Constitution Protection Bureau, or SAB, for 554,500 euros at an auction organised by State Real Estate, LSM reported, citing the LETA news agency.

The property is located on Lielupes Street in the Jaundubulti district and includes a 3,801-square-metre plot, a 2,631-square-metre administrative building and a 244-square-metre garage.

The auction started at 549,500 euros. The government authorised the sale of the property in November 2025 after SAB determined that it was no longer needed for the bureau or for the functions of the justice sector.

The property’s fiscal cadastral value was 776,296 euros as of January 1, 2025, while its universal cadastral value was 2,279,626 euros.

The buyer must pay for the property within two weeks of the auction, and the property is to be transferred within 30 days of the purchase agreement being signed.

State Real Estate was established in 1996 and is wholly owned by the Finance Ministry.
