Vilnius man loses 13,700 euros after clicking scam link
Lithuania A Vilnius man lost 13,700 euros after clicking a link sent by scammers, LRT reported, citing the Police Department.
On Sunday, the man, born in 1976, clicked a link sent to his phone about an alleged penalty. After he entered his online banking details, a substantial amount of money was fraudulently withdrawn from his bank account.
A pretrial investigation into fraud has been opened.
