Sunday to bring mostly dry weather and temperatures up to 24 degrees

Sunday will bring mostly dry but windy weather to Estonia, with temperatures reaching up to 24 degrees, ERR reported.

A high-pressure area will slowly move east from Central Europe, with its northern edge covering the Baltic states and southern Finland. At the same time, a broad low-pressure system bringing precipitation will extend from the Norwegian Sea towards Scandinavia.

Saturday night will be clear or partly cloudy, with some areas experiencing variable cloud cover and fog. Rain is unlikely. Winds will be light and from the west, becoming occasionally moderate on the coast. Temperatures will range from 9 to 14 degrees, reaching up to 17 degrees on the coast.

Sunday morning will be mostly clear, although cloud cover will vary in some places. Southwesterly and westerly winds will reach 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 12 metres per second. Temperatures will rise to between 14 and 19 degrees.

During the day, cloud cover will remain light and variable. Isolated areas may receive brief showers. Southwesterly and westerly winds will reach 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 12 metres per second and up to 15 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will range from 19 to 24 degrees.

Sunday evening will be clear or partly cloudy and mostly dry. Winds will remain southwesterly and westerly at 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 13 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will fall to between 16 and 20 degrees.

Monday will start with light and variable cloud cover, which will thicken in the afternoon. Rain will reach the islands and spread to the mainland, with a risk of thunderstorms. Temperatures will rise to between 20 and 26 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday will bring changeable cloud cover and occasional showers, with average temperatures of 18 degrees. Thursday will be partly cloudy and mostly dry, with the average temperature rising to 19 degrees.
