Gas leak explosion injures woman in Rūdiškės

A woman suffered multiple burns in an explosion caused by a gas leak in Rūdiškės, LRT reported Saturday, citing the Police Department.
The explosion occurred at about 7:11 a.m. on Friday in the apartment of a woman born in 1956 in Rūdiškės, a town in Trakai District.
The apartment’s windows were shattered, and its owner was taken to hospital with multiple burns. Two cars parked in the building’s courtyard were also damaged.
Police are assessing the losses and have collected material concerning the destruction or damage of property by a generally dangerous method.
