Finnish pop artist Jaakko Eino Kalevi to perform in Tallinn

Finnish musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist Jaakko Eino Kalevi will perform on Wednesday at the garden stage of Paavli cultural factory, ERR reports. The concert will be opened by Portuguese musician Miguel Jaques.
Kalevi’s music blends psychedelic pop, cosmic disco, funk and experimental rock with soft melodies and Nordic restraint.
He gained international recognition with the 2013 EP Dreamzone, released by Weird World. His self-titled 2015 album brought his work to a wider international audience.
Kalevi’s most extensive work to date is the double album Chaos Magic, released in 2023. Written and recorded in his new home city of Athens, the album combines cosmic jazz, dub reggae, synth-pop and several ballads. The first demos were recorded in Geneva, Berlin, Greece and Estonia.
The album features, among others, Finnish experimental music legend Jimi Tenor, actor and singer Alma Jodorowsky, Faux Real, Yu-Ching Huang and John Moods.
Miguel Jaques, who is from Portugal, will perform songs from his albums Estrangeiro and Modas do Poço.
