Temperatures will rise to as high as 27 degrees Celsius in Estonia on Wednesday, with mostly dry weather during the day, ERR reports. Rain showers and a risk of thunderstorms will reach the islands in the evening.
The coming night will be clear or partly cloudy and dry, although fog will occur in places. Winds will be variable at 1 to 6 metres per second. Temperatures will fall to between 7 and 12 degrees, reaching up to 16 degrees on the coast.
Wednesday morning will bring little or variable cloud cover and dry weather. Light southerly winds will prevail, and temperatures will range from 15 to 18 degrees.
During the day, temperatures will rise to between 22 and 27 degrees, with up to 20 degrees on the coast. Winds will blow from the south at 2 to 8 metres per second, with gusts of up to 11 metres per second. On the northern coast, winds will come from the east and northeast.
In the evening, cloud cover will remain limited and variable. Some showers are expected on the islands, along with a risk of thunderstorms. Southerly winds will be light inland and reach up to 8 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will remain between 20 and 23 degrees.
The high-pressure area will retreat towards Russia on Wednesday, but its edge will still extend over Estonia, keeping the daytime weather dry. In the evening, a low-pressure area will stretch across the Baltic Sea, bringing denser clouds and showers to the islands.
The rest of the working week will bring variable cloud cover. Showers will occur in places on Thursday and become more widespread on Friday. Saturday will remain changeable, with occasional showers, particularly in southern Estonia. Cloud cover will thin on Sunday, which is expected to be mostly dry. Average temperatures will remain around 25 degrees on Thursday before falling to about 20 degrees at the end of the week.
