Perling sole candidate to lead Parempoolsed

Lavly Perling is the only candidate for chair of Parempoolsed, an Estonian political party, while 36 people are running for 14 seats on its board, ERR reported.

Perling, who currently leads the party, said she was running again because the work needed to be completed.

“For four years, we have been building Estonia’s only right-wing party. The next step is to take Parempoolsed into the Riigikogu, so that our right-wing policies can move from words to real decisions and action,” Perling said.

Parempoolsed will hold its general assembly on August 15 at Moon restaurant in Tallinn. The meeting will be fully open to the public, with speeches by both party members and supporters.
