Minor assaults teenage girl at Vilkaviškis care home

A minor assaulted a teenage girl at a care home in Vilkaviškis district on Sunday, LRT reported, citing police.

The incident took place at about 5 p.m. at the care home on Ežero Street in Alvitas village.

According to initial information, a minor born in 2009 assaulted another minor, a girl born in 2012, during a conflict.

The girl received medical attention and is being treated as an outpatient.

Police have opened a pretrial investigation into causing physical pain or minor health impairment.
