Bodies of two men found in Kaišiadorys district and Kalvarija municipality

Police reported the discovery of two deceased men in separate incidents in the Kaišiadorys district and Kalvarija municipality on Monday, as confirmed by the Police Department.

In Kaišiadorys district, an unidentified man aged approximately 55–60 was found in a state of decomposition in a field near Antakalnis village around 9 PM. The body was located in a marshy area, according to the Fire and Rescue Department. Firefighters, wearing protective suits, retrieved the body from the wet, boggy meadow and handed it over to police. Authorities have launched a pre-trial investigation to determine the cause of death.

In Kalvarija municipality, a man’s body was found in Asava village at approximately 2:17 PM. The Marijampolė County Chief Police Commissariat identified the deceased as a 38-year-old man (born in 1988) with no visible signs of external violence. A pre-trial investigation has also been initiated to establish the cause of death.
