Bodies of two men found in Kaišiadorys district and Kalvarija municipality

Police reported the discovery of two deceased men in separate incidents in the Kaišiadorys district and Kalvarija municipality on Monday, as stated by the Police Department.

In Kaišiadorys district, an unidentified man aged approximately 55–60 was found in a state of decomposition in a field near Antakalnis village around 9 PM. The body was located in a marshy area, according to the Fire and Rescue Department. Firefighters, wearing protective suits, retrieved the body from the wet, muddy meadow and handed it over to the police. Authorities have initiated a pre-trial investigation to determine the cause of death.

In Kalvarija municipality, a man’s body was found in Asava village around 2:17 PM. The Marijampolė County Chief Police Commissariat confirmed the deceased was a 38-year-old man with no visible signs of external violence. A pre-trial investigation has also been launched to establish the cause of death.
