Rain returns to Lithuania but changes expected by midweek

Rain has returned to Lithuania, but the wet weather will not last long, with sunnier and warmer conditions expected from Thursday, according to Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service forecaster Simona Dalinkevičiūtė, as reported by LRT RADIJAS and LRT.lt.

Monday will see unstable cloud cover with frequent showers, thunderstorms, and possible hail in some areas. Wind gusts may reach 15–20 m/s during storms. Temperatures will range between 22–27°C.

Light rain is expected overnight into Tuesday, with temperatures dropping to 9–14°C. Daytime will bring short-lived showers in many regions, with westerly winds strengthening to 17 m/s in places. Temperatures will hover around 17–22°C.

From midweek, the rain is set to ease. While Wednesday may still see some showers, Thursday should bring clearer skies. Temperatures will climb to 19–24°C on Wednesday and 24–29°C on Thursday.
