Lithuania to enjoy pleasant warmth with brief showers

Lithuania will see pleasant summer warmth with occasional brief rain showers this weekend, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service (LHMT).

On Saturday morning, fog is expected in many areas, with temperatures ranging from 10°C in the eastern part of the country to 17°C in the west. During the day, some regions may experience short rain showers, with temperatures rising to a comfortable 19–24°C.

Sunday night will see a low chance of rain, but some areas may experience brief showers and thunderstorms during the day. Winds will be southerly to southeasterly at 4–9 m/s at night and mostly southerly at 8–13 m/s during the day. Temperatures will range from 11–16°C at night to 24–29°C during the day, with coastal areas seeing 21–23°C.

Monday will bring more widespread short rain showers, with thunderstorms possible in some areas. Heavy rain is expected in places. Winds will shift from southerly at night (3–8 m/s) to southeasterly and southwesterly during the day (7–12 m/s), with gusts up to 15–17 m/s in thunderstorm areas. Nighttime temperatures will be 12–17°C, with daytime highs of 20–25°C.
