Rain to persist as fog expected overnight, but relief is coming soon
Rain will continue across Lithuania for several more days, with fog expected overnight, but Sunday will bring a taste of summer, according to Paulius Starkus, a synoptist at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by LRT RADIJAS and LRT.lt.
Thursday will be cloudy, with short-term rain, possible thunderstorms, and hail expected in the afternoon. Temperatures will range between 17–22°C.
On Friday night, clouds will disperse, with patchy short-term rain possible in some areas. Fog is expected to form in parts of the country, with temperatures around 9–14°C. During the day, cumulus clouds will develop, bringing a chance of short-term rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures will reach 18–23°C.
Saturday will see more clear skies and less short-term rain, with overnight temperatures between 9–14°C and daytime highs of 19–24°C.
By Sunday, the likelihood of rain will be very low, with daytime temperatures around 22–27°C.
