Environment ministry names Asta Rokickienė as deputy minister for construction

The Lithuanian Environment Ministry has appointed Asta Rokickienė as deputy minister responsible for construction, architecture, and land and territorial planning policy, the ministry announced.

Rokickienė, an architect and interior designer by training, has worked at the ministry since 2018, most recently leading the Architecture and Construction Policy Group. She previously served as chief architect of Švenčionys District Municipality and worked in the private sector.

Another deputy minister, A. Paliukėnaitė, oversees nature protection, climate policy, EU and international relations. She retained her position following the appointment of Ieva Andriulaitytė as the new environment minister.
