Woman injures police officer in Kelmė district

According to a report by LRT, a woman injured a police officer in Kelmė district on Sunday.

The Police Department stated that at around 18:13 in Stulgiai village, Kelmė district, a woman accompanying a suspect being detained for a public order violation assaulted a Kelmė district police commissariat officer (born in 2005). The officer received medical assistance and is being treated as an outpatient.

The suspect, who was intoxicated (2.62 per mille), was placed in custody. A pre-trial investigation has been launched for resistance against a police officer.
