Temperatures to reach 30°C in parts of Lithuania on Monday
Lithuania will experience a sharp rise in temperatures on Monday, with some areas seeing highs of 30°C, according to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.
Sinoptikė Ineta Daunoravičiūtė told LRT Radio that short, heavy showers with thunderstorms are expected in many regions, particularly in the west, where there is also a slight chance of hail. Winds will be northwesterly at 8–13 m/s, with gusts of 15–20 m/s possible during storms. Coastal areas will remain cooler, with temperatures between 22–24°C.
From Tuesday onward, the weather will turn drier but remain warm. Nighttime temperatures will range from 11–16°C, while daytime highs will stay between 22–27°C. The forecast suggests a continuation of dry and warm conditions in the coming days.
